Ancient Chinese Warring States Dagger Axe

(circa 600 BC)

A early period Ancient Chinese Ge or dagger. The design is rather simple and the center hole suggests it might  date from the early Zhou or late Shang dynasty. These dagger axes were attached to the ends of long wooden poles and presumably swung at opponents in battle.
