Ancient Chinese Warring States Dagger Axe

(475 - 221 BC)

A Ge or dagger ax possibly from the Chu culture of ancient China and dates to the Warring States period of the Zhou dynasty. These dagger axes were attached to the ends of long wooden poles and presumably swung at opponents in battle.
