Late Zhou, Early Han
Bronze Bridge Money (circa 300 - 220 BC) A rare gold
plated example of the more common late Zhou or early Han "bridge
money". Although examples of bridge money are fairly common, they are
universally accepted as a true form of currency like spade and knife
money. This example is rare because of the gold plating. The overall
look and feel appears to be more like the early Han Dynasty which
followed the Zhou Dynasty.
